Most of these photos have some serious light leaks due to a bad 120 back. Regardless, a few came out pretty good though.. I replaced it this week and everything should be nice and clean from now on.
Heard this guy talking pretty loud in Chinatown the other week. I looked behind me and it was a man in a brown fur coat and funky glasses. I’m glad the light leak framed him. Weird character.

I’ve realized lately that i like photographing older people in the city, which is weird but I think it’s because they grew up in the city or have been walking these streets for a long time and look the part more than anyone else. Plus the population is 75% hipsters. Who wants to photograph them.. They’re so overrated.
I pretty much blew this photograph..Anyways I saw this lady on the other side of the street and she took a step every 2 seconds or so. So I knew I had enough time to get in front of her at the next light to take a portrait.. But, she knew what I was doing by the time I got 20 ft. in front of her and she stopped and tried to find something to hide behind, but there was nothing.. : / So she just stood there. I felt bad and super awkward, so i just snapped one real quick and walked away.

Saw the lines pointing to this truck with NY painted on the top from across the street, waited for the cars to quit going by. I thought for sure I would miss the photo, but got it right when the light turned green.
